Wray - Mary Grace Powers

Mary Grace Wray, 89, died Tuesday morning in Ben Hur Home. Mrs. Wray was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Born Nov. 9, 1981, at Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of George L. and Ada Harrington Powers. She was graduated from Crawfordsville High School and married Earnest L. Ray (Wray), who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Loren “Barney” Wray of Crawfordsville and Gordon Wray of El Serado, Calif.; two brothers, Clyde Powers of Urbana, Ill., and Claude Powers of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Hazel Wilkinson of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday in Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery on South Grant Avenue. Friends may call in the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. smc
